Bonnie Gean Lorz, 82, Fargo, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Sanford Medical Center.
Bonnie was born February 17, 1933, the daughter of Walter and Alma Presting, at Twin Valley, MN. She attended grade school in Fargo and graduated from Fargo’s Central High School in 1951.
Bonnie was employed at Woolworth in Fargo. She married Gerald (Jerry) Lorz September 14, 1952. A loving mother and homemaker, the pride of her life was her children and grandchildren. Bonnie worked part-time at Tri-State Auto Auction, which later became Adesa Auto Auction, for nearly 40 years. Bonnie was an auxiliary member of the Fargo American Legion and Fargo VFW.
Bonnie’s life was guided by her strong faith in the Lord. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a soft-spoken gentle spirit and will be missed by her family and many friends.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jerry; children, Brian (Lana) Lorz, Fargo, and Pamela (Wayne) Bakken, Pelican Rapids; grandchildren, Trevor Bakken, West Fargo, Jenna Bakken, Moorhead, and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Seaburg.
