Beverly Rapp

Beverly A. Rapp, Moorhead, MN, passed away Tuesday, August, 4, 2009, at age 78, in her home she shared with Kiara (Kevin) Schroeder. Very heartfelt and special thanks to Hospice of the Red River Valley for all their giving, caring, and amazing attention they gave to Bev while she was under their care. We are extremely grateful you came into our lives. Bev was born in Enderlin, ND, and graduated from high school there. She continued her education at Wahpeton School of Science in bookkeeping. She then moved to Fargo, where she made her home. From 1959-1979, she was married to L. John Rapp (deceased) and together they raised his children, Mitchell (Cindy) Rapp, Fargo; Geri Lynn (deceased) (Jeff) Mortenson; and Kiara (Kevin) Schroeder, Moorhead. Bev worked for the city of Fargo Water Dept. until retirement. Bev loved to travel, and would take a cruise or sign on with a travel agency to see new sights. Her favorite was a visit to Norway to see where her ancestors had lived and traveled to America from. Bev was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lewis and Francis (Grey) Anderson; brother, Jerry Anderson; sisters, Helen Benz and Jeanne Stram. Survivors include: Mitchell (Cindy) Rapp; Kiara (Kevin) Schroeder; brother, Bruce (Diane) Anderson, Brooklyn Park, MN; sister, Brenda (Warren) Ventsch, Valley City, ND; as well as many nieces and nephews and blended family grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Service: Friday, August 7, 2009, at 2:00 PM, at Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.
