Betty M. Schultz, 74, of Fargo died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at her home in Fargo under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Betty was born May 3, 1936 in Otter Tail County, Minnesota to Fay and Burnis Morris. She grew up and attended grade school in Otter Tail and Wilkin Counties and High School in Rothsay, MN. In 1953, she married Lester Schultz. They lived on a farm near Rothsay for three years. They moved to Wahpeton where they lived until 1962, until moving to Fargo. They had three sons. She worked at Fargo Bumper and Ulteig Engineers, retiring in 2000. She is survived by her three sons, Steven Schultz, Fargo, Stuart Schultz, Fargo and Scott Schultz, Fargo; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allen (Mary) Morris, Fargo and Lowell (LaVon) Morris, Minot; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother, Cecil and two sisters, Joyce and Beverly.
