Betty Ann Grund

Betty Ann Grund, 87, died on March 2, 2017 in Fargo, ND, surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Betty Ann Bonawitz was born November 12, 1929 in Fargo, ND to Raymond and Agnes (Nelson) Bonawitz. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1947.
On October 2, 1949 she married the love of her life, Wallace A. Grund at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. She was very active in the church. Betty sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, VBS, and Women’s Bible Study Group. She was a caregiver to many, blessing and touching others with her kind and generous spirit. Betty worked at Fargo Drug Store, J.C. Penney, and Andrews Pharmacy. She enjoyed golf, reading, gardening, bowling with family and helping others.
At the time of her death, Betty was a member of First Assembly of God. She sang in the choir and her love for the Lord kept her busy serving in many areas.
Betty is survived by her sons, David (Brenna) and Paul (Kim) and daughter, Mary Jo (Brad) Fandrich. She loved spending time with her grandchildren: Stacy, Lance (Bettina), Nicole (Luke), Jennifer, Codi (Jason), Heidi (Matt), Kaylee, Wally, Gretta (Jeremy), Michael; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold, Raymond, Les, Lozier and sisters, Marie and Darlene.
