Bernice Eidsvig

Bernice L. Eidsvig, 86, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, January 4, 2010, at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo. Bernice L. Huseby was born August 4, 1923, in Nome, North Dakota, daughter of Oscar and Bertha (Strand) Huseby. She graduated from Nome High School. Bernice married Alvin “Junior” Lindemann in 1947. They had three children. Junior died in 1959. She married Ralph Eidsvig August 19, 1961. She was a church volunteer and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gardening and spending time outdoors brought her great happiness. She was passionate about caring for stray animals. Bernice is survived by her son, Dr. Alan (Diane) Lindemann, Harvey, ND; two daughters, Pat Lindemann, Aurora, CO; and Bonita (Steve) Kereluk, Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Dr. Matt (Theresa) Lindemann, Anchorage, AK; Jessie Lindemann, Grand Forks, ND; Paul (Stephanie) Lindemann; and Nikki Kereluk, both of Fargo, ND; her great-grandchildren, Jace Lindemann and Kenzie Lindemann; and her beloved calico cat. Bernice is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, brothers, Irvin Huseby and Melvin Huseby; and a sister, Mabel Gilbertson. Memorial Service: Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at 3:00 PM, at Mavis Whiting Chapel, Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, ND.
