Beda Lois Nankivell

Beda Lois White Calfe Nankivell, 57, passed away Dec. 18, 2016 at Sanford ER, Fargo, ND surrounded by her family. She was the second daughter of Margie Elaine Hall White Calfe and Albert L. White Calfe, Jr. who preceded her in death.

Beda graduated high school at Woodrow Wilson in Fargo, ND. She worked multiple professions including food service, day care, personal caregiving and finally at Fargo Assembly in Fargo, ND as a production worker for over 15 years, until her battle with cancer disabled her from working.

She has been a member of First UCC Church on 17th Ave S in Fargo for over 30 years. She and Tom participated in youth group fundraising, church dinners, preparing meals at Churches United for the Homeless, and Crop Walk. Beda was active in Patriot Guard events.

Beda is survived by her loving husband, soul mate and friend of over 36 years, Thomas Nankivell, Fargo, ND. She is survived by her sisters, Alberta “Birdie” (Jon) Nelson, Fargo, ND and Shawn (David) Lekander of Evans, Colorado and her niece and goddaughter, Shaunalea Nelson of Fargo.

Beda’s motto for life was spread joy, have fun, laugh often and do more good than harm. No matter the situation she was always willing to help out in whatever way she could and encourage others to do the same. She had a huge heart; helping and understanding each person she met.
