Barry Lee Wegner, 62, of Moorhead, MN passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Barry Wegner was born on December 4th 1952 at St. Luke's hospital in Fargo, ND. He was baptized on January 10th, 1953 and confirmed October 15th, 1967 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN. Barry graduated Moorhead High and attended North Dakota State University.
Barry was most recently the Director of Purchasing at RDO Equipment Co. and has dedicated the past 21 years to helping grow both the agricultural and construction side of RDO's business. Prior to that Barry worked for American Specialty Foods, Surplus Tractor Parts, and S.B. Foot Tanning. His first job was at Fairmont Foods in Moorhead, MN.
In addition to working hard, Barry enjoyed many activities including: bowling, golf, hunting, and being outdoors. He spent many hours meticulously and proudly caring for his yard and property on his John Deere lawn tractor. He also enjoyed being seen and occasionally showing off in his bright yellow Toyota FJ truck. Barry knew how to enjoy life and share that joy with others. His sensibleness, joviality, and sharp sense of altruism will be missed dearly by those who knew him.
Barry is survived by his son, Chad Wegner of Sudbury, MA, his wife Julie and their two children Armin and Edric as well as his sister Becky (Don) Anderson of Ft. Worth, TX and their two children Christopher (Julie) Anderson whose sons are Wesley and Samuel and Casey Anderson. In addition, he is survived by his ex-wives; Susan (Steve) Davidson, mother of Chad Wegner, and also by Cynthia Wegner and her two children Toby Cossette whose daughters are Jessica and Jasmine and Tiffany whose daughter is Darien.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Robert Lee Wegner and Jean Dolores Eng (Wegner) and step mother Alice Mae Wegner.
