Barbara Jean Olson, 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at Eventide Nursing Home in Moorhead, MN with her loving family by her side. She is now united with many family members that have passed before her.
Barbara was born March 27, 1953 to Lester and Katherine Holbrook in Seattle, Washington. She spent the majority of her life in Eastern North Dakota. The love of her life was her children: Sheldon, Misty and Danielle, and later in life, her grandchildren: James, Kyle, Michael, Jacob, Brianna, Hailey, Trevor, Tori, Taliah, Taylor and Hannah.
Barbara is survived by her children: Sheldon Olson, Misty (Ray) Hurt, Danielle (Trent) Olson; grandchildren, James, Kyle, Michael, Jacob, Brianna, Hailey, Trevor, Tori, Taliah, Taylor, Hannah; siblings, Beverly (Bruce) Johnson, Harwood, ND, Bonnie (Dave) Olson, Fargo, ND, Robin Holbrook, Moorhead, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Katherine Holbrook; sister, Bernice; brothers, Bill, Bob and Ronnie; nephews, Bucky, Jay and Robbie.
The memorial service is 2pm, Tuesday, October 4 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. A Celebration of Life will be held later.
The family would especially like to thank the staff of Eventide Nursing Home for the loving care over the last 2 years. Memorials can be given to the Eventide Nursing Home of Moorhead, MN.
