Barbara Jean Feltis, 62, of Milnor, ND, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Sanford Hospice House in Fargo, ND.
Barbara entered this world on January 18, 1959 in Lisbon, ND, born to Eugene and Rosemary (Cincera) Feltis. She grew up and attended St. Aloysius Catholic School and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1977. In 1978 she married Vernon Hill of Oakes, ND, and they were married for seven years.
In 1979, Barb began her 41-year career with Bobcat in Gwinner, ND, proudly working various positions and retiring as a machinist in September of 2020.
Barb was an avid horseback rider, hunter, motorcyclist, loved to travel, and was a fun-loving gal who enjoyed living life. She lived for music, spending time at the lake, time with her grandkids, stargazing, and collecting antiques and Indian artifacts. She had a larger-than-life personality. Barb was known for her unforgettable laugh, unique sense of humor, and one-liners.
Barb is survived by her life partner, Hugh “Hal” Snellman, Milnor, ND; daughter Bridget (Lance) Besette, Davenport, ND; son, Trever (Jesse Masterson) Hill; Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Skyler and Mavrick Besette; siblings, Mark Feltis, Moab, UT; Patricia (Kenneth Bryan) Feltis, New Port Richey, FL; Mike Feltis, Lisbon, ND; Roberta (Bruce) Webster, Irvine, CA; Maria (Eric) Overn, Lisbon, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Rosemary.
A Celebration of Barb's Life will be held from 10am-2pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Springs Golf Course, 565 Bogey, Gwinner, ND 58040.
