Barbara Bruzelius, 66, Fargo, ND, passed away on March 16, 2017 with her daughter Michelle at her side. The funeral will be at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Fargo, ND on Wednesday, March 22, at 10 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior to service. The interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fargo, ND.
Barbara (Kremer) Bruzelius was born December 2, 1950 in Saarland, Germany to Peter and Ursula (Müller) Kremer. She met the love of her life Joseph Bruzelius while he was stationed in Germany while serving in the United States Army. They married on October 6, 1976 and were married for 29 happy years until Joseph succumbed to cancer in 2005. Barbara and Joseph moved to the United States in 1976 and welcomed their pride and joy Michelle in 1977. They returned to Joseph’s hometown of Fargo in 1980 where they made their permanent residence.
Barb was known by all who loved her for her unending kindness and generosity. Her artistic ability was far reaching, but she was known best for her beautiful knitting and crocheting. Never one to say no to someone in their time of need she took loving care of her mother-in-law, husband and mother when they needed her most.
Barb will be dearly missed by her daughter Michelle Bruzelius of Ramsey, MN; her brother Peter Kremer, Warstat, Hamburg, Germany; her sister-in-law Judy (Glen) Winter of Fargo, ND; sister-in-law Janet Rath of Pelican Rapids, MN; brother-in-law Gary (Marilyn) Bruzelius of Hanseville, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her beloved cat Scotty.
Barb is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bruzelius; her parents Peter and Ursula Kremer; her sister Elfie-Rose, Hofer, Ludwigsburg, Germany; her in-laws Joseph and Erma (Engel) Bruzelius; and her beloved cats Libby, Cupcake and Blacky.
