Austin Lee Crippen born March 29th, 1996 unexpectedly passed away at the age of 28 in Fargo, North Dakota. He was born to Chadwick and Tina Crippen in Omaha, Nebraska. Yet, lived most of his life all over North Dakota. He attended and graduated school from Woodrow Wilson School in Fargo.
Austin married the love of his life Cassie Crippen (Willette) on October 5th, 2016. Austin was affectionately known as Crippen, Uncle Proud, and Big Guy. Austin's favorite activities of all time were sports, scratch-offs, and spending time with family. He loved most all sports and played them even better. He was an incredible athlete. He spread joy playing and teaching any and every sport and activity with his friends and family. He loved spending time with ALL of his immediate and extended family and close friends. He impacted everyone he ever met and never met a stranger who didn't fall for his infectious smile and contagious laugh. He had a special way of making everyone he met feel important and seen. He spent a lot of time treasure-hunting for any and all gifts and collectibles for his loved ones. He loved to walk through any door and say hey look at my stuff and have presents for everyone.
He is survived by his Wife Cassie Crippen, His sons Joshua, Ezra, and Malachi Crippen (Fargo ND), Father Chadwick Crippen (Omaha, NE), Grandmother Doris Crippen (Sioux City, Iowa) Grandfather Rick Tayman (Florida), Brother Shane Rockwell( Shianne Rockwell) (Joplin, MO), Sister Tiffini Crippen (Jaron Lester) Fargo, ND, Brother, Houston Crippen ( Grand Forks, ND), Brother and Sister Jenna and Daniel Crippen (Omaha, NE), nephew Marrion Grant, Nieces Harmony ChasingHawk, Harmony Willette, Mariella Grant, and Luella Wolff (Jamestown, ND), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends.
Austin is preceded in death by his mother Tina Crippen, Grandfather Daniel (Danny) Crippen, Grandmother Sandra (Sandy) Tayman, Uncles Todd and Troy Tayman, Great Uncle Hank (Henry) Lepard, and great-grandparents.
