Audrey Karen (Johnson) Savageau, 91, of Fargo, ND passed away March 14, 2013, at Palliative Care, Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Audrey was born May 12, 1921 to Emma (Roesch) and Harry Johnson. Audrey, better known to family and friends by her nickname Dottie or Dot, grew up on a farm in North Fargo, and attended Fargo schools.
She was united in marriage to Edige (Frenchie) Savageau on August 9, 1949. Besides being a homemaker she passed her time by baking and watching baseball; the Minnesota Twins was her favorite team. She loved being by the water; most of the time she could out-fish anyone she was with. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors: sons; Marshall Underwood, Steven Savageau; and two daughters; Donna Kemmer, Kimberly (Steven) Savageau-Rask, brother; Darrold (Lanie) Johnson, sister; Marsha (Dale) Larson, three granddaughters; Lyn (Brian) King, Patricia Sather, Tess (Chris) Derosier, two grandsons; James Kemmer, Devon Anderson, four great- granddaughters; Brianna King, Emily Sather, Allison Sather, and Audrey Kemmer, three great-grandsons; Garrett Anderson, Bryce and Ryne King and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Edige (Frenchie) Savageau, sisters; Beverly (John) Schwoboda and Dolores (Gabriel) Savageau, brothers; Harry (Lucille) Johnson Jr. and Donald (Peggy) Johnson, and daughter Meredith Anderson.
