Arnold Benesh

Arnold C. Benesh, 83, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND. Arnold Clarence Benesh was born April 15, 1923, at Ada, Minnesota, son of John and Clara (Durling) Benesh. He graduated from school in Ada. Arnold married Elizabeth Dittmer on September 19, 1943. They farmed near Ada for 29 years. Arnold continued to work for other farmers in the area, until he retired. He married Helen Chaney on June 26, 1987, in Fargo. Arnold is survived by his wife, Helen, Fargo, ND; five sons and two daughters, Dwight Benesh, Chandler, AZ; Byron Benesh, Pine River, MN; Charlotte Wilson, Canton, OH; Jonathan (Linda) Benesh, Annandale, MN; Erich (Carol) Benesh, Bismarck, ND; Paula Myers, Moorhead, MN; Lance Benesh, Chula Vista, CA; brothers and sisters, Glenn (Pat) Benesh; Marvin Benesh; and Clifford Benesh, all of Ada, MN; Lorraine Slininger, Ada, MN; Doris Melby, Hawley, MN; Janice (Robert) Miller, Casselton, ND; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karla; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Eleanor deVries. Funeral Service: Saturday, January 13, 2007, at 2 PM, at Kingdom Hall, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Friday, January 12, from 6-8 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Saturday, January 12, 2007, at 1 PM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
