Arlene Adele Gustafson

Arlene A. Gustafson (Johnson) passed away May 23, 2020 at Eventide Nursing Home in Fargo, ND.
Arlene was born April 14, 1935 to Russel and Tillie Johnson in Fargo, ND. She attended Oak Grove High School and later received her degree in Accounting from Dakota Business College in Fargo. She was the accountant at Simonson Lumber in Fargo for 25 years until her retirement in 1996.
After retirement, she enjoyed family get togethers and vacations visiting her siblings living out of state. She was an avid puzzle enthusiast and creating needlepoint crafts for all the family to enjoy.
Her family was blessed to have such a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by two children: Kevin (Anne) of Ham Lake, MN, and Marc (Rita) of West Fargo, ND. Six grandchildren, Stephanie Arth, Patti Dwyer, Tonya Names, Heather Erickson-Kolness, Brandon Gustafson, Brian Gustafson, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; Sister Ardis Cummings and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents – Russel and Tillie Johnson, Sisters – Navis Dyste, Ruby Olson, Marion Poole, Maxine Rutsi, Brothers – Norman Johnson, Clayton Johnson, Stanley Johnson – and Daughter Cheryl.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
