Ardey Peterson

Ardey J. Peterson died peacefully Thursday, February 26, 2009, at his home at the age of 93. Ardey is predeceased by his first wife of 32 years, Alle Peterson, his sister and parents. He is survived by his second wife of 34 years, Francis Evans Peterson; a daughter, Marcia (Michael) Palumbo; granddaughters, Tina Izzo and Holly Swick; and two grandchildren, Brianna and Brandon; step-children, Jim (Gloria) Evans; Nancy (Dale) Anderson; Cheryl (Gene) Breimon; many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ardey was initial owner of Dakota Plumbing and Heating. He retired from Dakota National Bank in February of 1980 and from the Stern Foundation in 2005. Ardey was a Veteran of WWII, stationed in the North Pacific. He was a Sergeant in the Army Air Signal Corps. He was a life time member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, Elks and El Zagal Shriners Oriental Band. Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
