Ann Louise Ask

Ann Ask, 85, of Fargo, ND, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Essentia Health, Fargo.

Ann Louise Ask was born August 26, 1928 in Fargo, ND to Louis and Alma (Dorseth) Ask. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1946. She then attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1950.

She taught at various schools, including Little Falls and Dilworth, MN; and Osnabrock, ND. After retiring from teaching, she moved to Fargo and worked at several places until turning 65. She then continued her work as a volunteer for the ARC.

Ann always enjoyed the Lawrence Welk type music, and also had a great love for reading. She loved to entertain and serve, cooking delicious meals for her family and friends.

Ann is survived by three nieces, Ruth (Mark) Gunn, San Antonio, TX; Carol (Mark) Kiemele, Colorado Springs, CO; and Jan (Joel) Broschat, Cooperstown, ND; several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Hazel Jean Jahr; aunts, Ella and Clara Ask.

Interment will be in the spring.
