Alma B. Trautman, 93, of Moorhead, Minnesota, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead. Alma Ackerman was born January 10, 1915, to David and Rose (Wohl) Ackerman in Linton, North Dakota. Alma attended public schools in Linton, ND. Alma married Jacob Weber on June 12, 1937. They were married until his death in 1970. She lived in the farming community of Robinson, North Dakota. After marrying William Trautman in July of 1975, they lived in Steele, North Dakota, for ten years. William died in November of 1989. Alma moved to the Fargo/Moorhead area in 1999. She worked as a cook at Renschler’s Restaurant for five years, until her retirement. Alma was in the Homemakers Club and an active member of Peace Lutheran Church in Linton, North Dakota, and was also a 4-H Club Leader. Alma is survived by two sons; Orlyn (Kathy) Weber; and Gary (Diane) Weber, all of Fargo, ND; two sisters, Irene Will, Linton, ND; and Esther Job, Bismarck, ND; one brother, John Ackerman, Linton, ND; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first and second husband; her parents; brothers, Theopil, Richard and Rueben Ackerman; and daughter, Mavis Weber. Funeral Service: Saturday, October 18, 2008, at 2:00 PM, at Peace Lutheran Church, Linton, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Temvick Cemetery, Temvick, North Dakota
