Alice Jordan passed away on December 13, 2023 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, ND.
Alice Rose Eggert was born July 14, 1925 in Barnes County, ND where she attended Ashtabula grade school. She graduated from Valley City High School in 1941 and Valley City State University. After graduation, Alice taught in Luverne and Milnor schools.
She married William C. Jordan on January 13, 1945, in Billings, MT. Following World War II, they moved to Fargo, where her husband was associated with Acme Welding Supply. When Bill retired in 1979, they spent winters in Scottsdale, AZ, and summers at Lake Melissa, MN, and Fargo, ND.
Alice enjoyed working with children, taking active roles in Sunday school, Scouts, Camp Fire, and Mothers Club when her children were involved.
Her husband, Bill, daughter, Cynthy (Dave) Clausnitzer, grandson, Christopher Jordan, great-grandson, Deklen Fischer, siblings, Esther Gordon (Walter) and Avis (Norman) Potter preceded her in death.
Alice is survived by her sons, Noel (Carol) Jordan, Bonita Springs, FL, Bill (Diane) Jordan, Detroit Lakes, MN, and Mark (Brenda) Jordan, Fargo, ND; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and brother, Robert (Inez) Eggert, Valley City, ND.
Services will be held at a later date.
