Alice Margaret Johnson, 99, died Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND.
Alice Wieshalla was born August 17, 1920 in Browerville, MN. She was raised by her grandparents after her parents died when she was very young. She graduated high school in Browerville.
Alice married Robert G. Johnson on February 15, 1947 in Anoka, MN. They lived in St. Paul, MN before moving to Fargo, ND in 1949. Her husband Robert died November 25, 1980.
After raising their son Rob in Fargo, she worked as a bookkeeper for Tallman Oil Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fargo.
She is survived by her son Robert J. and his wife JoAnn Johnson, two grandchildren, Alison and Travis (Melanie), and two great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held in the Hanson-Runsvold Chapel. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
