Alex Crocker, 31, of Fargo, ND, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, December 28, 2020.
Alex Anthony Crocker was born October 9, 1989 in Fargo, ND to Mark Crocker and Doris (Melicher) Crocker. He grew up in north Fargo, attending Washington and Horace Mann Elementary, Ben Franklin, and North High before earning his GED. He enjoyed playing Fargo youth hockey for the Patriots organization.
Alex worked in the restaurant industry as a chef and management in the Fargo-Moorhead area throughout his life. He was passionate about philosophy, deep conversations with family and friends, and music. He loved tubing with the Roamers, bean bag tournaments, and spending time with his dog, Trunks.
Alex was a minimalist, but his life was rich with family and friends.
Alex is survived by his mother, Doris (Steve Johnson), Moorhead, MN; father, Mark Crocker, Fargo, ND; brother, Max (Tanya) Crocker, Fargo, ND; step-sisters, Stephanie (Christian) Farrand, Sheyenne Johnson; step-brothers, Brandon (Jennifer) Johnson, Michael (Megean) Johnson; step-grandmother, Violet Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lyle and Arlene Melicher, Vernon and Muriel Crocker; and aunt, Marci Melicher.
Visitation will be at 5-7pm, with a Time of Sharing at 6pm, Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND and will be livestreamed on the funeral home website. Masks are required and space will be limited.
