Al Roggensack died Sunday afternoon, July 10, surrounded by family in his home at Crosshaven (Riverview Place).
Al owned Roggensack Decorators and Roggensack Insulation.
He loved spending time at their cottage on Lake Lida with family and friends.
Al and Mildred enjoyed their time in Mesa, where they spent more than thirty winters.
Al loved to sing, starting with high school plays and the church choir. For over 62 years he sang with the Fargo Barbershop Chorus. He competed with them in international competition in Boston in 1965 and also in Toronto in 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mildred, children Carol (Jim) Baum, Laurie Holm (Randy Sauvageau), Rick (Jane) Roggensack. Four grand children, Damon Holm, Brady (Leslie) Holm, Cody Baum, Amber (Dave) Johnson. Six great grandchildren, Kallyn Baum, Maya, Blake, and
Duncan Johnson, Bennett and Kellan Holm. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth, sister-in-law Ruthie (Paul) Bearson and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
