Alan Richard Wigren beloved son, brother, grandson, godson, nephew, cousin and faithful friend is safe in the arms of Jesus. He was born, January 10, 1988, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, unexpectedly died in Fargo, North Dakota, on Saturday, December 12, 2009. Alan who had so much fun entertaining everyone was kind, empathetic, sincere and protective. He loved his furry friends as much as anyone else and they loved him as much. Music, books, comedy, outdoor sports, basketball, TV, and movies were the favorite pastimes he participated in, but sharing time with his family and many friends is what he enjoyed most. Life held boundaries for Alan, and eternal life sets him free Preceding Alan in death includes: grandmothers, Joan (Sobon) Wigren, Loretta Wigren, Special great-grandmother, Marjorie Sobon; grandfathers, Jack Wigren and Kenneth Mickelson; cousin, David Sobon; godfather, Vincent Ihlen. Surviving Alan includes: mother, Sharon (Mickelson) Wigren; father, Richard Wigren; sisters, Shelby and Randi Wigren; brother, Joshua Sands; grandparents, Elsie and Palmer Peterson, Al and Regina Ihlen; uncle, James Mickelson (Doreen); aunts, Melody Greve (Kevin), Carolyn Ihlen, Jackie Wigren, Roxanne Denny (Mark), Debra Hobson; many cousins who loved him dearly and all of his loving friends. Memorial Service: Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 1:00 PM, at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
