Agnes Grant

Agnes Marie Grant, 81, of Des Moines, IA, formerly West Fargo, ND, passed peacefully April 16, 2010 at Granger Nursing Home in Granger, IA. Agnes was born November 22, 1928 in Maddock, ND and graduated from Maddock High School in 1946. She married in 1947 and had a son James. She worked in Fargo at the Boy Scout Office. She married Bruce W. Grant in 1955. They moved to Spokane, WA, had a daughter Debbie, moved to Moses Lake, WA, Great Falls, Mt. before returning to Fargo. She loved being with her family, grandsons & all of her extended family & friends. She enjoyed playing cards, telling jokes, going to casinos, sewing & traveling. Agnes is survived by her son James & Grandson Aaron of Tempe, AZ; daughter, Debra (Jimmy) & Grandson Michael Howard of Johnston, IA; sister, Gladys Simenson of Eden Prairie, MN; sister-in-law, Norma Grant of Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Penny Morkve of Spokane, WA., along with all of her extended family & friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce, parents Bertin & Annie Morkve, along with many loved ones, mother-in-law, brothers, sisters, brother-in laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, great nieces & nephews, Don Aalgaard & Don Morton.
