Adolph A. Shebeck, 95, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND. Adolph Alvin Shebeck was born August 20, 1911, in Wahpeton, North Dakota, son of Wensel and Elvina Shebeck. He grew up and attended school in the Wahpeton area. He farmed with his brother in the area. Adolph married Monica Boespflug on November 21, 1951, in Webster, SD. She died in January 1998. After their marriage, they owned and operated a restaurant in Hawley and Lake Park, MN. They lived in the lakes area and after they retired in 1985, they moved to Fargo, ND. Adolph enjoyed playing pinochle and pool, which kept him young. Adolph is survived by his daughter, Betty (John) Young, Hawley, MN; son Joe (Norma) Thompson, Chicago, IL; nieces, Patty (Fred) Dalton, Salinas, CA and Maxine Morley, Keiver, OR; nephew, Jerry (Denise) Shebeck, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Chuck; and two brothers. Funeral Service: Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 2PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from 5-7PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home. Prayer Service: Wednesday, at 7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Hospice of the Red River Valley or the Senior Commission.
