Adele R. Bopp, 94, of Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead. Adele Ruby Bopp was born on February 1, 1916, in Newark, NJ, daughter of Dominick and Jennie (Woerner) Poliseo. She attended school in Scotch Plains and went on to graduate from Union Junior College in Roselle, NJ. Adele married Carl Bopp on November 19, 1938. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and lived her faith through her volunteering and her work at various United Methodist Churches. She was very artistic and did numerous forms of art including painting, rug hooking, and sculpture. She had the gift to make beautiful things out of nothing. She loved to sew, do intricate handworks and play the organ. They lived in Scotch Plains and Crestwood Village in Whiting, NJ, before moving to Moorhead, MN, in 2004. Adele is survived by; a son, David (Janet) Bopp, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ; a brother, Joseph (Violet) Poliseo, Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Janet (Jay) Drechsel, Fargo, ND; Paul (Julie) Grove, Columbus, OH; Susan (Eugene) Bounds, Alexandria, VA; Karen (Shawn) Hickey, Columbus, OH; Jason Bopp, San Francisco, CA; Richard Bopp, South Plainfield, NJ; Melinda Ruiz, Neshanic Station, NJ; Christopher Bopp, Somerville, NJ; great-grandchildren, William and Katherine Drechsel, Vanessa and Jonathan Grove; Charles Bounds, Brendan and Colin Hickey; two nephews and one niece. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her son, Richard; her sister, Jane and her parents. Memorial Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Fargo, at 4 pm, Thursday, April 1, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parish Nurse Ministries and Stephen Ministries at the First United Methodist Church of Fargo, ND.
