Wes McNutt went home October 29th, 2012 in United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. He was born December 21st, 1939 in Shakopee, MN to Alfred and Gladys McNutt. He lived briefly in Chaska, MN then resided in Fargo, ND. He attended Fargo Central Class of 1957, attended NDSU and graduated in 1965 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Wes married Linda Berger on January 29th, 1966 in Bayport, MN. He was drafted into the army during the Vietnam build up. He spent four and a half years at Ft. Carson, CO and a tour of duty in Korea. He returned to Fargo in 1971 where he practiced dentistry for the next thirty nine years. Wes was a member of the Masons and Shriners. He also loved his church, and was a faithful servant of the Shepherd of the Prairie Moravian Church since his family moved to Fargo. His involvement with Bible Study Fellowship as a discussion leader for twenty years was an honor for him. He loved and respected the leaders and men in his discussion groups and felt privileged to study God’s word. Wes retired from his dental practice in January 2010. Retirement found him fishing in South Dakota and spending special time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda McNutt of almost 47 years; son, Stephen McNutt, Covington, GA; daughters, Sherri (Richard) Klose, Jamestown, ND; Kristine (Gregory) Bakke, Bayport, MN; and Amanda (Kevin) Roark, Pierre, SD, grandchildren: Bryce, Matthew, David, Aaron, Caleb, Sophia, Grace, Luke, and Faith; his sister, Kay Strawn, Conyers, GA and brother, Paul McNutt, Fargo, ND; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Gladys McNutt.
