Travis Reitan, 45, of Dilworth, MN passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in his home. Travis Wayne Reitan was born February 9, 1979 in Fargo, ND, son of Steve and Diane (Larson) Reitan.

He grew up in Fargo and attended Fargo South High School, graduating in 1998. He attended NDSU briefly and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He managed various local establishments in the hospitality industry, including Godfather's Pizza, Bucks Garage, The Bar, Vinyl Taco, and Lakemode Liquors. He was married to Samantha DeWitt on April 4, 2020. They made their home in Dilworth, MN. He enjoyed sports,  watching the Dallas Cowboys. He loved nature, spending time at the lakes during the summer months while growing up, and at Chet and Karen's farm. He enjoyed walking all year long along the Red River and surrounding areas and listening to music and various podcasts. Fun-loving, with a big heart, he gave the best hugs and always enjoyed the times spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha Reitan; his mother-in-law, Marsha Dewitt; his son, Tristan; his daughters, Courtney, Leona, and Estella; his parents, Diane Larson and Randy Lathrop and Steve and Rita Reitan; his three brothers, Dustin Fortier, Steve Fuller, and Matt (Nikki) Reitan; aunts and uncles, Leander Reitan, Linda Paulson, Deb Reitan, Craig (Carlene) Larson, and Jeff (Lisa) Larson; cousins, Bobbie, Tanner, and Brittany; niece, Willow; and many others near and dear to his heart.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Al and Kathy Reitan, Lars and Leone Larson, and Lorie Fuller; and his uncles, Doug Larson and Jim Reitan.

He will remain in our hearts forever and always.
