Theresa "Teri" Jo Hamilton

Theresa "Teri" Hamilton, 66, of Fargo, ND, was called to her eternal resting place on November 29, 2024.

She entered this world on June 29, 1958 in Fargo, ND, born to Melford and Marlys (Siewert) Trefethren. Teri grew up in Fargo, graduating from Fargo South High School.

Teri met Francis Hamilton when they were both attending schools in Fargo. They dated for many years, and were married on August 7, 1993. Together they raised their three boys, Jason, Joshua, and Jordan. Following her work in raising their boys, she worked at PRACS and then Riverview Place in Fargo, where she loved her work and made so many dear friends.

Teri loved to color and felt it was therapeutic to express herself through it. She was a big fan of pop culture and always enjoyed talking all things celebrities. She loved playing games with family, family pizza parties, and just spending time with the kids.

Teri was best known for the love of her children, grandchildren, and those who she lovingly cared for. She wasn't just a mother to her own children, but also to her brothers and sisters, many nephews and nieces, grandchildren, and more.

Teri is survived by her husband, Francis Hamilton; sons, Jason Schwanke; Joshua Schwanke; Jordan (Lily Marth-Moser) Hamilton; grandchildren, Cruz Hamilton, Amaiya Marth-Moser, and Kinsley Hamilton; siblings, Pam Kalk, Mel Trefethren, Doug (Shelly) Trefethren, Rob (Tammy) Trefethren, Sue Trefethren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is now reunited with her parents, Melford and Marlys; and other dear family members.

The family expresses their sincere gratitude to Hospice of the Red River Valley for their excellent care of Teri in her final days.
