Ron Hendricksen, 69, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, in his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Ron was born on May 18, 1951, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Allen and Beverly Hendricksen. He grew up and attended school in Fargo, graduating from Fargo South in 1969. He then attended Concordia College.
Ron married Sandy Coalwell on December 31, 1972. They made their home in Fargo.
He was employed by the City of Fargo Water Utility for 39 years, serving 31 of those years as Water Treatment Plant Superintendent. He retired in 2013.
Ron loved worshiping the Lord and was so grateful for all the blessings he received during his lifetime.
He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and maintaining his many perennial gardens. He also enjoyed home improvement projects.
Ron is survived by his wife, Sandy, son, Taylor, and his partner Anna Reis of Edmonds, WA, daughter, Tiffany Wagner of Moorhead, MN, and his three treasured grandchildren: Tanner, Shae, and Kira.
Memorials are preferred to Bethel Church of Fargo or a charity of your choice.
A small private family memorial service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. and will also be live-streamed here.
