Robert Holbrook

Robert L. Holbrook, 49, of Moorhead, MN died Tuesday, January 03, 2012, surrounded by his family at Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Robbie was born August 21, 1962 in Seattle, WA to Robert and Delores (Beshears) Holbrook. He grew up in Seattle and Fargo. Robbie graduated from Fargo North High School in 1981. He worked at various jobs including the Ramada and West Acres Bowl, before finding his dream job as an aviation detailer and mechanic at Valley Aviation, where he worked until his illness. Robbie was a friend to all that he met. He had a great sense of humor and a love for his family. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and nephew. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his four children, Billy Holbrook, Fargo, ND, Bobbie Holbrook, Moorhead, MN, Matthew Holbrook, Grafton, ND and Chyloe Holbrook, Glyndon, MN; sister, Deborah Holbrook, Moorhead, MN; five brothers, Roger (Karla) Holbrook, Fargo, ND, Johnny Holbrook, Chamberlain, SD, James Holbrook, Breckenridge, MN, Randy (Jennifer) Holbrook, West Fargo, ND and Ricky (Buffy) Holbrook, Breckenridge, MN and four grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Delores. Funeral: Saturday, January 7, 2012, 1:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Chapel, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to services at Hanson-Runsvold.
