Lonny Curfman, 64, of Fargo, ND was called to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo.
Lonny Wayne Curfman entered this world on June 3, 1959 in Fargo, ND, born to Dale and Luella (Fregien) Curfman. He grew up and attended school in Fargo, graduating from Fargo South High School in 1977. He moved to the Twin Cities where he lived with his brother Terry and sister-in-law Mary before moving back to Fargo.
Throughout his career, Lonny dedicated himself to truck driving. He had a keen interest in technology, often found engrossed in research and seeking out deals to benefit others. Known for his enthusiasm for Mountain Dew, cats, sci-fi series, and films, Lonny's passions colored his daily life. Most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his parents and siblings, finding joy in being a part of their daily routines. Lonny also had a taste for classic rock, enjoyed casino outings, and took delight in cooking for his sister. His caring nature extended beyond immediate family, as he deeply valued his relationships with extended family members and close friends.
He is survived by his sister, Sherry Curfman; sisters-in-law, Mary and Carrie Curfman; nieces, Stephanie Curfman, Shannon Curfman, Amber (Tyson) Mattson, April (Ryan) Graves, Cassandra (Desmond Cain) Peltier, Emily O'Dell; nephews, Jared and Jordan Curfman; great-niece, LucyAnn Curfman; great-nephews, Alex Chruscielski and Tyler Morey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Terry Curfman and Mark Curfman.
