Laura A. Hagen, 100, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Bethany on University, Fargo, ND.
Laura Agatha Penner was born on November 7, 1913 in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan, the daughter of Peter and Era (Vogt) Penner. Laura was raised and educated in Montana.
Laura was united in marriage to Harry A. Hagen on June 11, 1944, in Wolf Point, MT. She worked as an administrative secretary for the Selective Service in Wolf Point. In 1948, they moved to Fargo, ND where their two sons were born and raised. Laura was a dedicated stay-at-home mother and home-maker. They were members of Assembly of God Church in Fargo. Harry died in 1983. Laura moved to Bethany Homes in July of 1998.
Aside from raising their children, Laura volunteered in the church office and nursery at Assembly of God church.
Laura is survived by her son, Bryan (Nancy) Hagen, Fargo, ND; daughter-in-law, Karen (Larry Prcik) Hagen, Glendale, AZ; and grandchildren, Lisa Hagen, Fargo, ND, and Zane (Rachel) Hagen, Phoenix, AZ. Laura was soon to be a great-grandmother in October 2014.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bruce Hagen; brothers Victor, Robert, and Bud; and sisters Katherine, Lillian, and Elma.
