Kathy (Kassa) Roscoe, 60, unexpectedly passed away in her sleep on December 4, 2021. Kathy was born the third of three children to Kenneth and Donna Hageman on July 24, 1961.
She grew up in Fargo's Clara Barton neighborhood and spent her summers at West McDonald Lake. Upon graduation from Fargo South High School in 1979, she went on to work for Americana Nursing Home for several years where she wore many hats and was loved by the residents.
Kathy married the love of her life, Thomas Roscoe, on June 13, 1987. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Ali (29) and Jon (27), who were both her pride and joy. After Jon was born, she started an at-home daycare where many of the daycare kids thought of her as a second mother.
She fulfilled her dream of returning to the Clara Barton neighborhood where they raised their children for many years. As a mother, she enjoyed being involved in her kids' lives. Kathy took pride in covering the house in Ali's artwork and encouraging her love of singing. While supporting Jon's love of hockey and through many years and miles traveled, she developed lasting friendships. She was an avid scrapbooker and generously shared her talents with others.
In 2012 Kathy began working at Drake Counseling Services. This was a perfect fit for her compassionate demeanor where she continued to help people in need. Kathy's contagious personality and sense of humor was loved by both staff and clients.
Those who knew Kathy were blessed by her big infectious laugh, selfless love, and carefree spirit. Although Kathy Roscoe left us too soon, she undoubtedly left the world a better place. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years Tom; her children Ali and Jon; her mother Donna Hageman, her sister Nancy Tyson, and brother Robert (Erika) Hageman; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; her grand-dog Ruby; and a multitude of great friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Hageman, and her in-laws Neil and Eva Roscoe.
