Julie Ann Golberg died peacefully Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Sanford Hospital, Fargo. Julie was born May 19, 1955, to Elaine and Allen Golberg in Fargo, ND. At the time of her birth, her family farmed at Gardner, ND. Shortly thereafter, her father got a job as an agricultural advisor and moved the family to Iran. Throughout her youth, her father's employment moved the family back to Fargo; Virginia; Rome, Italy; and The Hauge, Netherlands. She returned to Fargo and graduated from Fargo South in 1973. Following her graduation, she attended Concordia College, Moorhead, graduating with a B.A. in French with Minors in History and Political Science. While attending Concordia, she studied abroad at the University of Bordeaux, France. Julie also obtained a paralegal certification from the University of San Diego in 1978.

Julie was active in Mid-America Consultants International, Business and Professional Women (BPW), and the FM Humane Society.

Julie's work career included positions at Krismar, International Marketing Systems, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of ND, Sterling Inc., Allen Interactions, Dexma, and the Vocational Training Center of Fargo. Julie's organizational and problem-solving skills were extensively utilized during her work career.

Julie made friends easily, and she had many. Her relationships were the focus of her life.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are three brothers, Dean, Steve (Denise), and Jon; niece, Jessica Kimber (Shaun); nephew, Andrew Golberg (Chelsa); and seven great nieces and nephews.
