John Siemieniewski, 46, of Fargo, ND died on Friday, January 2, 2009. He had a heart attack while doing what he loved, pheasant hunting with his dog Suzi. John was born December 18, 1962 in Hankinson, ND to Walter and Mary Ann (Morth) Siemieniewski. He spent his childhood on a farm south of Cayuga, ND. He graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1981. John married Lisa Wegener of rural Claire City, SD on April 28, 1984. They have two children, Jill and Dana. John was a Caterpillar operator at Red River Excavating for the past fourteen years. He was an active member of the Cass County Wildlife Club. John looked forward to hunting season, fishing, and relaxing at their cabin on Buffalo Lake, SD. John leaves his wife Lisa; son, Dana, Fargo; Jill (Gerald) Christlieb; grandson, Xavier Christlieb and twin granddaughters due in March, all of Ada, MN; his mother, Mary Ann, Wahpeton; brothers, Mark (Loraine) Wyndmere, Tony, and Kevin (Dena) both of Wahpeton; sisters, Rita (Cary) Bearman and Ann Weldon, both of Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law, Jean Siemieniewski, Wahpeton and many relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his father, Walter and brother, James. Memorial preferred to the Cass County Wildlife Club.
