Donna Mae Jones, 92, died on September 18, 2022 at Hospice House, Fargo, ND.

Donna was born in Arthur, ND, on July 21, 1930 to George and Cecelia (Bahl) Parkhouse. She was raised on their farm at Arthur and attended county school through eighth grade, graduating high school in Arthur.

Donna married Willard Jones on July 21, 1948, moved to Gardner, ND and raised five children with Willard; Ronald, Charlie (Mary Jean), David (Kim), Richard (Marj) and Kathy (Jay Temchack).

Donna was a farm wife, active in her church and community, and had a great love for her family and friends which was clear to all who met her. She loved baking, bowling, reading, going to the Lake of the Woods with Willard and her family and friends. She was serious about her faith, potato salad, scotcheroos, and enjoyed life to the fullest.

After Willard died in September 1990, Donna remained on the farm until moving to Trollwood Village in Fargo in 2009, where she made countess friends and remained until her death.

Donna is survived by her children, David, Richard, and Kathy; her brother William (Melody) Parkhouse; her sister Georgene (Allen) Melander; as well as 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Willard; mother and father; her sons, Ronald and Charlie, as well as her brother, Robert (Betty) Parkhouse; sister, Beverly (Robert) Iwen; and brother, Bennet (Kim) Parkhouse.

Donna’s last words were telling all how much she loved them, that she was at peace and wanted to go home to her family and Lord above.
