Erick G. Ohnstad

Erick Ohnstad, 30, Fargo died in his home on April 4, 2015.

Erick G. Ohnstad was born January 23, 1985, in Valley City, ND to Steven and Jeannie (Rinck) Ohnstad. He spent his early years in a city he loved, Chicago. He spent those years shadowing his older siblings and enjoying all the perks of being the baby! In 1996, along with his parents, Erick moved to Bowman, ND where he found what was to become a lifelong passion, hunting, fishing, camping, and four wheelers. In 1999 Erick, his parents, and older brother Tim moved to Fargo, ND. Here Erick developed a love for Rap music and found a talent in singing/song writing. Erick made lifelong friends and started a family with girlfriend, Suthurree Little. Erick left this world in a tragic way and with that we are left with unbearable pain, but we are also left with memories of one heck of a young man who imprinted his fiery, one life to live spirit, in all our hearts.

Erick is survived by his girlfriend, Suthurlee Little; son, Hunter Ohnstad; daughter, Erickah Little, all of Fargo; father, Steven Ohnstad, Fargo; sister, Tamra (Jason) Sowers, Buckeye, AZ; brothers, Thomas Finley Jr. (Melissa Porter), Charlotte, NC and Tim (Amanda) Finley, Fargo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie Rinck Ohnstad; daughter, Gracie Ohnstad; Grandparents, Pat and Gus Rinck and Roy and Betty Ohnstad; uncle Richy Rinck; and sister, Kristy Lynn Ohnstad.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo.
