Robert Jacobson

Robert Jacobson, 63, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, August 17, 2009, at his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Robert Lloyd Jacobson was born in Fargo, ND, January 3, 1946, son of Lowell and Romae (Ollmstead) Jacobson. He went to Central High School. He was a union iron worker and traveled extensively working with iron. Robert is survived by his daughter, Julie (Jeff) Rice, Pelican Rapids, MN; and son, Raymond Olson, Oregon; three sisters, Sandra Butler; Karen Brown, both of Fargo, ND; Susan (David) Husel, Moorhead, MN; four brothers, Joseph (Phyllis), West Fargo, ND; John (Patsy); David (Cheryl Eberhardt); and Richard, of Fargo; six grandchildren, Jenna, Amanda, Kellie, Olivia Pixley; and Isaac and Mallory Olson; two great-grandchildren, Alexandrea and Izack Pixley-Nava; and long-time friend, Gloria Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Romae Jacobson; brother-in-law, Robert Brown; and infant son, Edwin Joseph. Funeral Service: Thursday, August 20, 2009, at 2:00 PM, at Golden Ridge Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND
