Paul Olson

Paul Olson, 95, of Fargo died August 21, 2008 at the VA Hospital in Fargo, ND. Paul was born February 10, 1913 to Charles and Edith (Jenne) Olson in Moorhead, MN. He married Helen Schmidt on May 29, 1948 in Wheaton, MN. He served four years in the Army Air Force during WWII. He ran his own painting and decorating business until he retired. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and playing cards with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Jim Olson, Green Bay, WI and Jack (Linda) Olson, Fargo, ND; brother, Carl (Janet) Olson, Wheaton, MN; two grandchildren, Scott and Karen. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Charlotte Matheson, Agnes Oscarson, Clara Stine, Mildred Drumright and Mary Miller. Funeral: Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Monday, August 25, 2008 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church. Prayer Service: Monday, August 25, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
