With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Olivia Allen on October 14, 2024. She was born March 29th, 2007 in Fargo, ND, grew up in Reiles Acres and attended West Fargo High School. She was active in 4H and everything pageantry.
Olivia was a radiant soul whose smile could light up a room. She had a heart full of compassion and empathy, always putting others before herself, even in her most challenging moments. She left impressions on people like a cement brick on wet concrete.
To know Olivia was to know a fierce yet gentle spirit. She embraced life with resilience, never giving up, even when faced with her own struggles. Olivia's unwavering determination, paired with her warmth, left an impact on everyone she met. She was a loving daughter, a caring friend, and someone who truly made the world a better place by simply being in it.
Olivia was a bright light-quick with a smile, and even quicker to share a laugh. Her sense of humor brought joy and comfort to her family and friends, who will forever cherish their memories of her.
One of the things Olivia was best known for were her hugs-hugs that made you feel loved, safe, and seen. She thrived on showing kindness to others, and her love extended beyond words. She had a deep passion for helping others, and her legacy of love, courage, and generosity will live on through all the lives she touched. Her legacy will live on through her nonprofit Warm Blanket Hugs.
Live each day to its fullest and #BeLikeOlivia.
Olivia is survived by her loving parents, Chris & Wendy Allen (Blegen), who were her closest confidants and biggest supporters. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Lucas and Matthew Allen, along with a community of family, friends, and loved ones who will carry her spirit in their hearts forever. Olivia was preceded in death by her grandmother, Patti Blegen (Monson), and other cherished family members.
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm followed by a prayer service at 7pm, Monday, Oct. 21 at First Lutheran Church. A celebration of Olivia's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 22, at First Lutheran Church, where her light, love, and laughter will be remembered and celebrated by those who knew her best.
