Mark Berglund, 50, of Fargo, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at his home surround by his family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Mark was born April 29, 1961 to Homer and Barbara (Fritz) Berglund in Fargo, ND. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South in 1980. He attended NDSU and worked at Red River Fabricating as a fabricator. He owned and operated Berg’s Place, which were the concessions at the Fairgrounds that he took over from his parents. Most recently he worked at Peterson Mechanical. Mark loved his family and spending time at the lake home on Turtle Lake, MN. He also loved to hunt and fish with his “boys” Newton and Rex. He is survived by the love of his life, Lynn Klein; two daughters, Kaylee Berglund, Fargo, ND and Annie Berglund, Fargo, ND; former wife Anita Schierman of Fargo, ND; three brothers, Daniel (Patsy) Berglund, Lyme, CT, Eddy (Barb) Berglund, Fargo, ND and Jeff (Vicki) Berglund, Appleton, WI; and two sisters, Julie Miller, Fairbanks, AK and Jane (Craig) Croaker, East Grand Forks, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation: Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
