Laural Litchfield, 92, West Fargo, North Dakota died on August 13, 2024, in Sheyenne Crossings Care Center, West Fargo.

Laural Edna Litchfield was born July 8, 1932, the second daughter of Alma and Lawrence Litchfield. She was raised on the family farm in Gwinner, ND and was Valedictorian of the 1950 graduating class of Gwinner High School. She received a Secretarial certificate from Jamestown College and worked in various offices before joining The Prudential Insurance Company and retiring after 33 years.

She was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church. Laural was always surrounded by a large circle of friends. She never knew a stranger and was particularly fond of children, acting as an aunt or grandmother to many.

She was a patron of the FM Opera and FM Symphony. In 2004 she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Zola and is survived by numerous cousins.

Laural will be put to rest in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Gwinner on the cemetery land donated by her grandparents.
