Jane Elizabeth Huber

Jane Elizabeth Huber, 93, passed away while surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 11th, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Jane was born on November 4th, 1928, to John and Jenny (Herfendahl) Markel. She grew up with four sisters and five brothers on a farm near Hoople, ND. She attended Hoople Schools. She then moved to Fargo in 1948 and worked for Dr. Bottalfson. She married Arthur Huber on April 8th, 1951, at Grace Lutheran Church in Fargo. In June, they moved to Valley City, ND, where Arthur owned and operated Dakota Drug, which they owned for 45 years. Arthur passed away on July 7th, 1996. Jane was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was an active member of Altar Guild and the North Dakota P.E.O Chapter 3. In 2019, Jane moved to Dilworth, MN, to be near family. Jane had a great love for her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed china painting, which she gifted to family and friends. She was a great card player and enjoyed playing with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Huber and Laura (Rod) Jenson; Two grandchildren: Jamie (Tyler), Drechsel, and Jake (Kendra) Jenson; Two great-grandchildren: Mason and Mila Drechsel. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, and brothers.

A private service will be held for the family at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo, ND.
