The nation lost another World War II Veteran as Herbert Bauch, 90, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Essentia Health, Fargo. Herbert Bauch was born February 17, 1921, in Poskin, Wisconsin, son of Frederick and Hattie (Zahn) Bauch. He married Joyce Lorshbough June 12, 1946, in Cameron, Wisconsin. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Minneapolis Moline, B. H. Chesley and Fairway Foods. Herbert is survived by his wife, Joyce, Fargo, ND; son, Rod and Karen Bauch, Somerset, WI; and two daughters, Karen and Dan Dean, Georgetown, MN; and Kris and Bob Haskins, Baldwin, ND; siblings, Grace Weise, Minneapolis, MN; Katherine Kotulski, Weyerhauser, WI; Rosemary Hill, Downing, WI; Raymond (Joanne) Bauch, Plymouth, MN; Micky (Walter) Olson, Edina, MN; Sally Fritz, Weyerhauser, WI; five grandchildren, Kim, Scott, Sam, Sunny and Cody; great-grandchildren, Torey, Marquis, Tyshaun, Brody and Macy; cousin, Oral “Bud” Bauch, Barron,WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; Lenard Bauch; Gladys LaLiberty; Lorraine Baalrud; Elden Bauch; Joanne Bilderback; and Richard Bauch.
