Chad Edward Bowden

Chad Edward Bowden, 52, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Chad was born on August 12, 1971, to Charles Edward and Marianne Carolyn (Ramsey) Bowden, at St. Lukes Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Chad graduated from South High School in Fargo, in May of 1990, and attended classes for carpentry at MState Technical College, Moorhead and classes for horticulture at NDSU, Fargo.

Chad was passionate about music and played bass violin throughout his school years. He continued to enjoy playing as a volunteer with the Trollwood Performing Arts in Fargo and later with Bluestem in Moorhead.

Chad worked in a variety of fields including restaurant, Health Care and manufacturing, but mostly enjoyed working as a Fargo Forum carrier. He started carrying the Forum at the young age of 14 and continued until the daily publications ceased and delivery was discontinued. He took over the business of Lawn Care and Snow Removal after the passing of his father and continued this employ for select customers until very recently.

Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Marianne (1999), his father Charlie (2000), and sister Carolyn Grace Bowden of Moorhead in 2020. He is survived by his sisters Charolette Dotting of Fargo, ND, Colleen (Kalin) Kurtti of Moorhead, MN, and brother Cory (Laura) Bowden of Fargo, ND. At his time of passing Chad had 6 nieces, 2 nephews, 5 great nieces and 2 great nephew, and MANY cousins.

Services for Chad will be at 10am on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the Chapel of First Lutheran Church, 619 Broadway, Fargo, ND.
