Alice Hardina

Alice Hardina, 93, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, August 16, 2007, at ManorCare. Alice Victoria Witham was born April 9, 1914, in Marshall County, South Dakota, daughter of Carl and Matilda (Impecoven) Witham. She attended school at Amherst and Kidder, South Dakota. In 1932, she married Marion “Mike” Hardina. They had a business place in Kidder for several years and later worked highway construction and lived many places throughout the Midwest. After retiring in 1970, they returned to their South Dakota home and spent summers at their lake home in Battle Lake, Minnesota. Mike died in 1982, and Alice lived in Minnesota since that time. Alice is survived by her son Neill (Joan) Hardina; and daughter, Holly (Orion) Holte; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; son, Patrick; and grandson, Timothy Michael Holte.
